We were contacted by the owner of Queercents to build an offshoot for the site, consisting of a business directory listing with a blog component. Queercents offers financial advice for the LGBT community, and wanted a place place to browse for LGBT and LGBT-friendly professionals.

We had to figure out how to categorize businesses as blogs, plus provide them with an easy to fill out profile that would automatically show up on the front side. Users would also have to pay to have a listing, and could choose to blog there or feed in their own blog posts via RSS. Everything should happen smoothly from signup to finished listing on the user end, and it does. It also integrates visually with their existing site.

Interested parties can read the blog posts on the main page, categorized by profession, or search for professionals by two criteria: State or Profession.
